Due to an offhand comment made by one of my nieces, I have now gotten into making aprons. The picture to the left is one I made last week for my husband's brother. I make two aprons, one a print for the front and another of a solid or contrasting print for the back (lining), and sew them together. I also make a pocket from the lining material and put in on the front. Since this particular apron was for a man, I didn't put grosgrain ribbon and buttons on the bib area.I've been lucky enough to sell several of my aprons and have them for sale in a small gift shop not far from where I live. At the present time, I've got about fifteen more already cut out and ready to make. :-)
